Sounds like your theft deterent system needs to be reset, try putting the key in the drivers side door and turning to the lock then unlock position, then try starting the car.

My 1999 CADILLAC Deville wont start i put a new dashbord in the other wo3not light up went in with no problems now it wont start
i JUST REPLACED THE - ECM on a 2007 cadilla cts 2.8 l v-6 - Same problem. all 3 sets of keys worked ok on the car prior to me dding a new ECM. So its not the key's or the chip in the key. It has to with your car recognozing the key, relaying signals from the ECM. They have a few steps you can try - (1) disconnect negitive side (BLACK) side of the car battery {(after a few minutes reconnect) (2) Put one key in ignition, turn to on position, leave in that position for 10 minutes. Turn key back and take out. put key back in ignition and turn forward, do not start car yet, leave in that position for 10 minutes again, repat the same steps 3 times. On the LAST take out key after that 10 mniutes , then after 5 seconds put back in ignition and start auto. The problem is the car's sedcurity system is overriding your vehicles ability to bypass and start, its that theft detrrent built into the PCM To prevent anyone rfrom stealing your car
