Unfortunately there are so many factors that will stop a car from running. Sorry but you didn't give enough information about what is running and what is not working. It could be as simple as "out of gas, with a bad gauge ". However, keep in mind the "brain box " is an engine controller (computer) so, it could go bad in so many ways and it gets tricky and very costly. I would suggest it to be one of the last things to try replacing. Good luck :-)
