May help and may not I bought a 2003 Seville with the ignition beat out and when I got it home that's all it would do was say security.i changed the steering column out and found a way to reprogram a new key or reset the old one.

On some vehicles If the radio has been replaced with after an market radio and if the theft system wire is not been correctly connected it will cause probs...not sure on that vehicle tho

I'm having the same issue. I've had my Cadillac towed 3-4 times to have this issue fixed and it works for a short time then just last week it happened again. I'm calling my mechanic tomorrow to find out how I can start it to get the Caddy to him to have him try something else.. Once I know what he does to fix the issue I'll relay the problem solving tip
