Car doesn't start?

Next time, unhook the battery until you discover the problem, not the alternator or starter. First opportunity, hook battery back up and put an Amp meter in series with the positive battery lead. With the car off (and the battery above 12 volts, check the amp draw via the meter. Begin pulling fuses one by one until you see the amp meter drop to zero. That tells you what circuit was still energized and causing the drain. Could be a trunk light, glove box light, etc. At least at this point you will know what circuit to check.
