oh crap Jenni... you didn't keep the switch panel to swap over? You might have to get a wiring schematic and figure out if you can jump the switch pins for power or to figure out how it works. If that doesn't work or you don't have the old switch, you might have to buy a new switch panel that was exactly like your old one. I would go with ebay or go to a self-serve junk yard for better prices. These and Sable's are basically the same cars during that period iirc. Good luck

Ugh thanks, it was already this way when the car was passed on to me :/

aaah, okay. Well at least you have something to work with. Sorry I got that wrong about the swapped door ;) The door that was swapped.. it does have a panel with window switches, right? I don't think these were offered with manual windows. There is also an issue with broken wires between the door and the body of the car. One youtube user found the light blue/ black stripe wire broken. Also look here: http://www.cargurus.com/Cars/Discussion-t509_ds542333

Okay, so are there two black plugs near the door handle area? Check this out: http://www.amazon.com/2000-07-Taurus-Control- Switch-Drivers/dp/B001MOYZ72 and compare the two black plugs.

There may be more plugs than that, for power mirrors, etc. But as long as you have that harness there you should hopefully be okay. If you buy a switch and they still don't work, check into the wiring in the pivot area of the front door.
