why does my eldorado keep dying after its driven for awhile

my eldorado keeps dying on me n now my service engine light is on ive tightened up battery n it is still stalling out n my battery is losing volts it runs between 14.7 and 12.6

you could have a charging issue or a computer/sensor issue. i would get a "load test" done on the whole car

Sounds like alternator to me. Have the charging test done but I would suspect the alternator has packed it in. Most GM alternators I have seen never made it past 85,000 miles.
