Is it possible to run a fuel line from tank straight to fuel rail bypassing the filter....an what would happen

Sure you can do that but I would never advise it. The filter is there to catch dirt, rust and other debris in the tank and gas itself so it doesn't get into the fuel system on/in the engine.
Other than getting a longer fuel line is there any other way
Trying to find out if my computer is activating my injectors because my car starts an cuts off but I have new fuel pump, regulator, filter still cuts off when It start an I hit the pedal it cuts off faster
Any codes on? It could be a throttle position sensor?
Its a shorted MAT sensor. Look at the wiring to that or replace if needed.
That was a old code I just rest it now its just showing f11&f12 because I unplug my ac line
Just by clearing it doesn't mean it goes away. Did you replace anything to fix the problem?
I replaced map sensor an tps sensors I just plug the battery back up after a few days
When I turn key to on position it doesn't say check engine or anything
Ok. When the car is running does the check engine light come on?
No its start an cut off but between them 3 sec no check engine
I'm stumped. I talked to a few guy who are into Cadillac's. We think you have a security issue with the Pass II. Either the key or the ignition switch is not working like it should.
I'm thinking the same thing because the previous owner rig something up so when I turn the key to on position an I have to press a button to start it its running from the starter to inside of car
Thanks partner I'll get a ignition switch and keep up posted
