I can't get my heater to work,i've set the door rod to switch to heat,Is there aelectric switch that my be bad.

Love those Allantes! It is probably the climate controls- that whole electronic dashboard is a nightmare- look at it! doesn't it just look like endless problems?! well, it is- the trick ones were the early ones with the analog instrument option-
