need 2 know how 2 test my 2000 civic b16a2 4 a intake air leak?

yes....spray the suspected leak with carburetor cleaner...increase in rpm will identify the leak....also the thing will be suckin' and will sound like it too~

...alternatively you could put an UNLIT propane or MAPP gas torch out there the unlit torch will cause the rpm's to increase~
you guys are dangerous .... JUST USE W-D 40 .... results are the same for a leak as the two above BUT , without the risk of explosion ....... just a thought

Peter...do you light the bar-b-que with wd-40....NO, because it doesn't burn~ replacing the leak with WD-40 would not cause an increase in rpms---

wd used to burn 'till they made it out of fish oil but engine speed will change when you find the leak ..... hello !!!

right on...reduction in speed....vacuum increases speed...an introduction of an explosive gas will increase speed...the opposite diagnosis...both will tell the truth~....one might think~
