My 2008 Z4 is steering harder than normal. What could the problem be?

i would check your power steering fluid level to start with, if the car is hard to steer or you are hearing a whining noise or other unusual noises while turning can mean the power steering pump is low on fluid. Hope this helps! =)

First thing I would check is power steering fluid. Just make sure you use ATF to fill it, NOT generic power steering fluid.

It doesn't have a pump or fluid. It has speed-proportional electronic power steering.
