Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I repaired the head last year and I have a small leak
on top of the water bottle, I only started using the
car last week Monday, on Friday it overheated, I
bled the system and it worked fine from then until
this afternoon, it heated up again and it's still doing
the same thing.

What head repairs were done?
The head blew last year, we sent it for skeeming and the gaskets was changed.
So the pressure is building up continously after the heat gauge went up this afternoon, I bled the system again, filled more water. I left the car running and the heat gauge was picking up again.
I wonder if it is warped and leaking again. Did they check for cracks?
Did you take care of the rest of the cooling system? Pump, hoses, radiator etc?
Not sure if the pump is the problem, I have a leak on the pipe near the water bottle , I was going to change the water bottle and the pipe this weekend. But how can that cause the heat gauge to pick up so quickly and also build up pressure so fast.
I drove the car for a week with that small leak, and no signs of over heating.
I'm just stressed, I can't afford to spend money on the head again. I just hope and pray it's not that, i don't see any signs of the oil and water mixing, is there any other signs of checking if it is the head or something else
You can perform some tests like a cylinder pressure test and or leak down test. Fix the leaky hose and re bleed the system and see if things get back to normal.
