Lifter is knocking in my 2008 Sorento w- 32,000 miles

I have a 08 Sorento with 32,000 miles. It is under warranty but the dealer keeps telling
me that it is natural for that sound. I am some what mechanically inclined and there is
no way normal for this to knock.  Anyone have a suggestion as to what it might be and
how long before the problem gets worse.

I have a 2008 sorento with 45,000 and mine is doing the some thing. cold start knock until the oil pressues comes up. the dealer replaced the cam chain tensioners which didn't do squat. they're telling me the same thing they told you. it's normal but it didn't do it when I bought the car so I don't see how this is normal. did you get your issues resolves yet?
