How many miles does a 2008 Suzuki Forenza last for? I'm looking to buy a used one with around 95,000 miles and I don't want to buy it if it only has 5,000 miles left. I am a college student, so I'm just looking for something to get me to the grocery store and back, I wont be traveling crazy distances in it.

Depends on the maintenance of the vehicle. Have it inspected before you purchase it, but, if it has been well taken care of, it should last way past 100,000 miles. What's the asking price?? That makes a difference as well.

Like any other maintenance is the key to answer this question. I will say that many times the auto's now days will make 200k or more with standard (owners manual scheduled) maintenance procedures. If possible get all previous maintenance records. Check air filter and the color/ burned smell or oil, radiator and transmission fluids and all others. Look at the underside parts too for wear. If possible I like to do an oil & filter change on all fluids if owner will do so before buying (make it part of the deal pending if) and then run/drive the engine & trans to see how fast it turns dark or smells burned and if its fast then walk away.
