Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2005 Chrysler Sebring. I had to jump start it and fuse the starter 8
blew. I replaced fuse 8 and the starter relay and then jump-started it.
It runs. But now it stalls out at low speed and I have to restart it. How can I fix
this so it does not stall now that I have replaced fuse 8 and the starter relay?

Why are you jump starting it? If there isn't enough battery voltage the computer cannot operate correctly.

I checked the battery voltage today and it read 11.5 volts when I started the engine it went down to 9volts and then back up to 11.5 volts

But later in the day, I found the starter fuse 8 blew again. I replaced it and then had to jump- start it again. I will take it to oriellys tomorrow for testing

That's a dead battery. 12.4 volts minimum and with the car running should be minimum 13.5 volts-14.5 volts maximum. Your computer can't operate decently without the proper voltage.

That's a dead battery. 12.4 volts minimum on a non running engine. 13.5 Volts minimum on a Running engine. Usually it's 14 volts or 14.5 volts while running. That's why your having issues because you don't have enough battery to run your sensors or computer properly.
