Where is the thermostat on a 2004 PT Cruiser?

My 04 Cruiser overheats a lot. I was told the thermostat was messed up and needed replaced. But with the way
then engine is set up its turned sideways and not on top were i thought it would be. I know it dose not cost muh to
buy a new one i just need to know how to get to it! Thanks
