Key broke off inside ignition

Accidentally broke key off inside ignition and I do not have
neither part of the key

Are you saying the stem of the key is no longer in the ignition ? The dealer can help as the new key will have to be programmed to match the transponder in the ignition .

Locksmith time. Cheaper than a dealer.

Most Dealers only have key codes on file for 10 model years, 15 if you're lucky. So a locksmith is the way to go with an 18 year old vehicle. How is it that the key broke off inside the lock and you don't have either part of it? Jim
