Question type: Car Customization

2004 sebring... I searched Keyless entry and no topics came up. I bought the car which did not have a remote with it... I bought a chryskler remote online to program to the car but since I don't have an already working remote I'm having trouble programming this one. Is there any way to program a new remote without having an old one? I know the dealership supposedly charges between 20-90 bucks which is outrageous. Please help, thanks.

go to ebay and buy one for your car they come with the paper work to help you do it yourself

Ok I just went through this w my sebring. You need to locate the body control module a sticker on the outside will have a 8 digit number like.... example (kyprx001) yours will be different. Remote must match the numbers on bcm or only panic will work annoying you forever
