is my engine seized?

Question type: General

can anyone tell me how come my car has reds when you turn the key on but
when you turn the key right over to start it just makes a tick noise?

Most likely it's a weak battery. If it jump starts, your engine is okay, battery is dead. Drive it to where you can test/install new battery. Have alternator tested too if the battery is not very old...less than four years.
