What causes the interior dome lights to stay on constantly?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have swapped out the headlight switch and the problem persists.  PCM module has recently been replaced and the alternator was recently replaced.  The interior lights started staying on after that.  What could the problem be?

No, it doesn't matter what position the switch is in, all the inside lights stay on constantly. I had to pull the fuse to get them to go off. But I lose other functionality with the fuse being pulled. For example, no radio.

It happened to me too, I own a 2015 Chrysler 300. I researched for a few minutes and luckily stumbled upon the right answer. Apparently when you fiddle with the dimmer switch for interior lights and instruments cluster, if you end up on the maximum brightness limit, it keeps the lights on. All you have to do lower the dimmer switch.
