PURCHASED A FUEL PUMP FOR MY 79 928 ONLINE FOR 58.00 SAW AN OEM PUMP FOR 226.00 IS THERE A DIFFERENCE. DO YOU PAY FOR PERFORMANCE? WILL THE CHEAPER PUMP DO THE SAME JOB?

Sorry Tom but i cant agree here, make sure the pump can supply the fuel pressure that the cis system requires, if it cant keep pressure at the fuel rails, your going to run into fuel starvation issues, also a lot of these bargain car parts companies, never really check fitment. I would recommend buying al parts from either 928rus or 928 international, roger at 928rus is an expert on parts fitment, as there are huge variations between years, and even half years.
