on the 300m when you remove the key the driver seat will automatically go backwards giving you more room to exit the car. Mine has suddenly stopped working.Should I be looking for a blown fuse, or lose wire?

Could be a fuse, relay, loose wire, or a function of the body control module no longer recognizing that it should do this when the vehicle is shut off. Does the seat still move backwards with the switch? If so, the motor isn't blown. Suggest having a dealership troubleshoot this as they will know better what might be wrong.

Most likely it isn't set anymore in the overhead console. Check the owners manual on how to turn it on and off. It's simple.
