Replaced starter and now it won't engage.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hiya. For the past couple months my car has been starting intermittently. It would just click and then nothing, like it wasn't making a connection. After being advised that the connections on the starter can get corroded I just changed out the starter. Now when I try to start it, the bendix just spins but won't engage the flywheel. Any ideas?
