A shop did this work or you, A/C compressor change out -vacum down unit ,replace compressor-drier filter(also should be small like tunnel filter inside line area) a certain amount of oil shoul be paced in compressor(comp oil)unit then should be vacumed down again and check for leaks,if condensor or evaparator or hoses has leaks and need changed do so ,Once vacum holds steady, unit is ready for recommended amount of freon,as far as the electrical part youll have to disconect at compressor and check out power to unit make shure its constant ,hope this helps you in some way.
Is the compressor clutch engaging? If not, it could be the fuse or the low pressure sensor keeping it from pulling in due to lack of refrigerant or rare, but, could happen, a faulty sensor. Check the fuse, then Try jumping out the sensor to see if clutch pulls in,but, don't leave the sensor jumped out as it may do further harm to compressor. Hope this helps.
