My 1997 Chrysler Sebring is leaking some place.

Asked by Mary Sep 17, 2016 at 02:35 PM about the 1997 Chrysler Sebring

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After heavy rains my Chrysler Sebring is leaking and filling floor up with
water. There are no visible signs that it leaks around the windows or
anyplace. I took it to the car wash to help me figure this out but no signs.
As I left I could hear some sloshing of water in the back. I checked my
carpets in the back and sure enough they were filling with water. The trunk
remains dry and so do my seats. Please help.

Water can drain into the doors at the window seal and then out of the doors near bottom from the inside of the door into the floor or around the door seals and down the door into the floor. Door and door window weather stripping & seals.
