My Pontiac pursuit 2006 won't start

Asked by Sarahnanco Sep 03, 2016 at 09:19 AM about the 2006 Pontiac Pursuit

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I drove to work this morning and when I
went to leave, my car wouldn't start. The
radio and lights would come on but the
actual car wouldn't start. I could here a
clicking, like it's trying to engage
something. Do you think there is
something wrong with the battery or the
starter?

POSSIBLE STARTER, BUT MAKE SURE THE BATTERY IS GOOD FIRST. TRY TO GET A JUMP START A CLICKING AND NOT STARTING IS USUALLY THE SOLENOID ON THE STARTER. IF U CAN GET TO THE STARTER TRY HITTING IT WITH A HAMMER OR PRY BAR WHILE SOMEONE TRIES TO CRANK IT.
