4 really
1&2 how and where   can you check
the  fluid  in the convertible  motor  
system?
3 what  type  of fluid  is used ?
4 would  low fluid  cause top  not to  
close completely ?

Wow an oldie LOL...the motor for the top should be behind the panel in the back of the trunk ...and I think that it might take power steering fluid with the panel off you can see the lines and see if there is fluid in them (you can see through them) I think there is a plug at the top of the motor and that's were you will fill it ...it wont take much if it is low

ok sorry I looked it up its behind the rear seat and it is ATF auto transmission fluid ... but the plu is at the top of the motor LOL I was1 for 3....you will need a small suction gun or ball type filler to fill it
