When stopped on a hill and I take your foot off the brake, my 2006 Charger R/T does not hold it's own, even a modest hill. Dealer said it is mfged that way to reduce rear-end collisions when the car is stopped.(No brake lights) Can this be changed?

Hi jbomb! Hey you know, I see a certain logic in that theory ... and that scares me ... but I'd seek a second opinion on that one. If that's truly the reason, I will bow with a surprised and embarrassed look, but ... Good luck!

i have the se plus and if ur on flat ground and take your foot of the brake it takes off, but like you on the slightest hill and does roll like a manual

More likely it's a design solution to extend the longevity of the transmission than it is the brake light story. However, I doubt there's much that can be done, as it involves idle speed and the torque converter. I suppose you could run a diagnostic on the tranny to be sure it is functioning properly.
