Etc light, cel, and car won't start or turn over

Asked by KelleyFamily Dec 18, 2018 at 03:34 PM about the 2006 Dodge Magnum

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The etc light and cel are on. The car won't start or
turn over at all. It doesn't make any sound when
you try to start it. When you try to start it, you hear
the fuel pump and throttle body make noise and
nothing else. Have tried 2 different code readers
and nothing comes up. Already replaced battery
with a brand new one. Any ideas on what is wrong
or what it could be?

I suspect a bad battery connection or weak battery. A jump costs nothing so give it a try. You might want to have the codes read to see if anything shows up.

We bought a new battery a couple of hours after it wouldn't start or turn over. And we used two different code readers and nothing came up. No codes were showing. That's why we are confused on what's wrong with it.
