Will a 2000 dodge Durango motor fit a 2005 dodge
durango they r both 4x4

If it is the same size engine, yes, but get everything, and I mean everything from donor car including wiring harnesses and ...well...everything. But before you begin, check the emissions laws in your State. Some States do not allow an engine from an older car to be swapped, must be same year or newer.

Good point Ford.. And that's the thing. Make sure all of your emissions are the same. later models are always updating emissions. I'm always skeptical of doing engine swaps from different years. Manufacturers are always changing things due to state/federal emission standards. Do your research.
