I understand, thanks. This GM not Dodge but yet American made and that is My S10 Tahoe only says Tahoe on the glove box door which is replaceable or cosmetic and anyone could put a door or a bumper badge from another on it. But my Title says Tahoe, and it has the package if you know what to look for. Otherwise the only sure fire way to know is to look it up from the VIN or Title.

Evidently CaroleeRose does not have a back door badge on theirs or they would not be asking.

CaroleeRose here and it wasn't on the back, inside the doors, on the registration or title. I looked through the manual and decided to look through all the paperwork that came with it when we bought it from a Used Car lot and was greatly relieved when I saw SE, not that I know what SE stands for. We have had problems with the headlights not coming on and have to hold the highlights on to drive at night, which is not acceptable and dangerous. So there is no night driving if we need anything from the grocery store. I did research and found I'm far from the only person to have this issue and saw a video on how to replace the light switch, which actually seems very easy. When I started looking on line to buy the part, besides, the year and model, I needed to know it was an SE. Perhaps this is another question but the man in the YouTube Video said he could have bought it new for $80 or he could go to a junk yard and bought it for $8, which he did. He further explained about making sure the switch had 6 pins. So I'm curious if this is a known problem how would I know any switch I replaced it with also wouldn't develop a problem? I also saw that there are many switches that look like they're all the same to me, different prices and I was wondering if there was actually a difference in all the switches? And I like to thank everyone who took the time to answer.

The SE on a Dodge Grand Caravan represents the trim level. The Dodge Grand Caravan SE is the base model for the Grand Caravan. On other car makers cars SE can mean Sport Edition and Special Edition but on the Dodge Caravan its the Base model.

How can i find out whether my Dodge Grand Caravan is SE or SXT or c/v

Enginecreator, check your records, I think most of the Grand Caravans have had SXT, SE, and C-V (CV, C/V) levels, with SE being in the middle and CV the basic model. 3.8 liter engine with the SXT and 3.3 liter with SE & CV, so not just the trim level either.

I have a 2016 that is a SXT but it does not have the SXT emblem on the back. I wonder why.

Hello Sir, Is this 2 or 6 pins / Do you think it will fit both and there's no difference? Thanks
