Shut off Anti thief with no key

I need to get my car to town. I took off
the ignition and used a screw driver it
started but it just died. How do I by
pass this so I can go to town to get a
new key.

I think I might call a locksmith and see if they do house calls. maybe there is a 24 hr smith in your area. google it and research. Good luck
