2001 Ford Mustang Started Died And Won't Start

Asked by Taylor Jan 04, 2018 at 10:25 PM about the 2001 Ford Mustang

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The car started then died. Will crank but not start. Tried to
jump it with no luck. Seems to have battery life. For a few
weeks now, since the cold weather, the key had to be help
longer to get it to start but it would start eventually. Any
ideas where to start?

you need to test for fuel pressure , if you can get some starter fluid in the throttle see if it fires , you should hear the fuel pump prime the system when you hit the key to the run position , check for a fuel pump relay , make sure the fuel pump has a good ground before you replace it
