I have an 88 chev 4x4 with a 700r4. Is there any power programmers or chips i can install to give it a bit better power. Either a piggy back or programmer would be nice, thanks

A tune is a great way to pick up both power AND fuel economy. The power you could possibly get out of a relatively stock TBI wouldn't hurt the tranny at all considering some of the engines GM later put in front of that transmission. TBIChips.com is the choice tuner for custom TBI chips. If you're up to doing it yourself, check out the following link, you can find tons of information there: http://www.fullsizechevy.com/forums/general-discussion/performance/tbi-tuning-87-95-obd-i-ecm-pcm/
