If your engine will try but not crank over when turning the key, it sounds like your starter may be ok, but your engine cannot turn. A tech would remove spark plugs and crank engine, then each item in turn that could be keeping it from turning. It requires knowledge, experience, and visual inspection. Evaluating the condition. If the cylinder(s) are full of water or fuel, it simply would hydrostatic lock. If you had that bad of a head gasket leak or fuel system concern, you would need to know the precautions and have test equipment to get a complete answer. looking at your plugs for evidence, cranking it with them out and observing ? that may be enough. Adequate ventilation and protection from spills would be advised. Get someone to help you who has auto repair experience and some test equipment. Inspect fluids and run tests in the proper sequence. wear protection.....If you find you have conditions change you need someone to help evaluate as the evidence presents itself. If, to you, turn over means something else? You may need to proofread your question, say what it does, what you hear, see , or smell. Then update your info. please.
