My 83 chevy van .started running rough .i
replaced the carbuerator. It ran great for
amile then lost power n died . i can get it to
start by flooring it but it runs very rough and
backfires

    2500 1998 Chevy pick up. I can get it in reverse but can't get the shifter to push it back into park , and sometimes I can't get it in drive. Can you stretch the shifter cable?
