i bout 82 chevy c10 yesterday 350 i turn the key and i get 1 click form the solenoid and it jumps the fan about 1/4 in but doesnt crank any idea??

Wow that's an open ended question. Do you have 12 volts at the battery, what is the fuel pressure? did you check the starter and starter relay. Did the timing belt break?

yes idk its carburated and i tried to jump the solenoid couldnt reach and it has new timing chain it doesnt turn over at all it clicks oncethen nothing

no battery was fully charged, yes it ran perfectly fine sat a couple months and now i get 1 click and nothing else

had starter put in 2 yrs ago and earlier in the spring new timing chain and tuneup ran good replaced 700r4 with turbo 350 ran for a little bit let it sit and now when i turn the key i get i click and 1/4 inch of movement has oil and properly mixed antifreeze
