Would a 4l80 replace my 4l60 transmission

I have a 1994 gmc 1500 5.7 and my 4x4
trans went. I am just wondering would the
same year of a 4l80 replace the 4l60?

I'd have to say yes. The only thing I'm not sure on is the transmission control module. Check the plugins to see if there the same as the 4160.
