No crank no start

Asked by GuruLHMYS Apr 11, 2019 at 04:24 PM about the 2001 Ford Ranger

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My son had a 2001 ford Ranger, he try starting
while it was already on. Truck turned off and would
not start again. I changed his starter today, worked
right after I changed it. Turn it off to clean up then
went to move it out of the garage and now it won’t
start again. Any ideas?

Had the same issue today found out that at the terminal the corroded wire on the positive side was shorting. Replaced the lead to starter and to the rest of the trucks. No problems since. Will update if it appears again
