how can i get rid of an unwanted car?.

wife had a title loan on her 2003 durango. under there insurance anything at all
that happened to the car they would cover. well her engine blew. they refused
to fix or pay. marked the car as repoed.  after sitting in my driveway for a year i
called and asked them to get the car out of here. they told me it was not worth
them to get it. how do i get rid of it? i.m in alabama

The car might be worth $200 as scrap. If the title is not in your name you can't sell it. If they hold the title I might dump in in a back alley somewhere.
