car starts when it feels like it

Asked by afghanautoglass Sep 01, 2011 at 01:18 PM about the 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

we have a 2003 dodge grand caravan for deliver, recently we had some issues it with, where as one day it did not started at all. Battery has power, but there was absolutely no power coming in.....starter is fine  as we tested it, alternater is fine. Then the next day we tried it with another key, it started perfectly normal...then back again it does not want to start. Sometimes it starts for like 5 min, then it shuts off. We exchange the fuse box with another 2003 dodge grand caravan still no luck. Some expert advise would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

check the gauge cluster for loose connections, i know it dosent make scene why that would cause your problem but this is a common problem with grand caravans and i have fixed every one of them by either replacing the cluster or re-soldering the connections
