Want to switch tranny from my 02 durango to a 06 durango. Will it fit?

Short Answer, No. The 03 is part of the first gen of Durangos (98-03) These models featured the following trannys: 4-speed TorqueFlite automatic 4-speed RFE automatic 5-speed RFE automatic The 06 is part of the second gen of Durangos (04-09) These models featured the following trannys: 4-speed 42RLE automatic 5-speed 545RFE automatic CVT Two-Mode automatic Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
