Skreem immobilizer replacement

Some douchebag tried to steal my van. Needless to say,
antitheft system kicked in. I'm on a very limited income and
this is my only means of transportation. Dealer gave a price
of $400 just for parts...which I definitely can't afford. My
question...if I buy a new skreem immobilizer, will the auto
parts store program it? Also, will I have to have a new
ignition lock cylinder, new ignition switch,  and have new
keys programmed? How much would it all cost getting it
myself?

You have no choice , the key/transponder will have to be re set with the new ignition by the dealer .. It was someone you knew right ? Without the transponder in the key you can't steal a car , it won't start . So anti theft is a fraud , and no car thief is going to steal your crappy mini van .

No, I did not know him. He indeed DID try to steal it. Yes, it IS a crappy mini van,but it's all I got. Evidently this car thief isn't too smart. The cops got him 2 blocks away at the 7-11 and they knew the moron by name.
