Car won't start,just clicks when key turns. What's the problem; and how do I fix it?

If it is a constant clicking, it is probably your battery needing to be charged or replaced. If it doesn't click or turn over at all, then it could be your starter. A mechanic would be able to tell you for sure. if your battery is to blame, you may also want to get your alternator tested.

make sure the batt. terminals are clean and tight , then make sure it's charged , if a jump start doesn't help and the headlights are nice and bright then it's probably your starter , it's getting power because it does click .

05 chrysler 3.8 6cyl. Clicks sometimes,wonr tuen over for 5 to 100 clicks. Seems to start if you cllick. It 10 fast clicks. Any answers going on 5. Now. Havenr gotten stranded yet
