Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We have put a new battery in the car a couple months back but i got into the car
yesterday and didn't won't to start but after turning the key on and off 5 or 6 times it finally
turned over and started. But today it wouldn't turn over at all. I checked the battery
terminals and they are tight and clean.

The battery may be too weak to crank due to the cold. Make sure it has plenty of cold cranking amps CCA. I don't know what kind or what you paid for it but it may not have enough CCA when really cold. If it is a good battery is probably the starter or corroded connections on the body or engine for the hot/ground wires for the battery.
