2k dodge Dakota sport

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Got a 2000 Dodge Dakota Sport with the V8 Magnum with
an A/c issue, I've topped off with R-134A with leak
detection...nothing, checked my relays and fuses, all fine,
had a buddy who works for DOT run a wire between the
clips on a plug and still nothing the clutch will not spin.
Any ideas on what else I could try before having to buy
new?

IS THERE POWER TO THE PRESSURE SWITCH ??? IF SO WHEN YOU JUMPED IT DID IT SEND POWER TO THE AC CLUTCH...YOU DIDNT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THAT???

Sorry!! No when we ran the wire through it did not spin the clutch but the engine did idle down like it tried to.

Update: the a/c is now running fine. Cold air and everything I have a horribly loud clicking noise and my check engine light was coded with a Bosch reader and I got these results. (See photo) Only issue is I cannot find any of them.

condenser fan code probably came up due to the fact that you jumped the low side pressure switch. Did you clear the code for the condenser fan, and it came right back?
