I had purchased a: NISSON CALIFORNIA...and whenever I start the vehicle... my battery appears to go dead and then a second later it comes to life and starts the car. Do I need to replace the battery?

Possibly loose or dirty battery connection. Also check the negative battery connection on the frame and motor. If these all check good then have battery tested.
