hi my 1995 2.5 cerfiro will not go into park all other gears work good

will not shift in to park and key will not come out. can start it in neutral and shift in to all
other gears and it runs well

I'd start by examining the shift linkage...then the motor mounts for degradation...use your parking brake....everytime....to rely on the parking pawl in the transmission tears at the engine and transmission mounts....so examine them with a jack or prybar to reveal that they probably need replacement~
