Overheating Dodge Grand Caravan

Asked by Miranda79m Aug 03, 2016 at 12:01 PM about the 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have 99 Dodge Grand Caravan that only
overheats while driving. We changed the
thermostat,  water pump and upper hose. A
backyard mechanic put some block sealer in it and
still overheating. What else could it be?

check the radiator water for any signs of combustion chamber emissions ....if ok...check into getting the radiator rodded out/repaired. stop and go driving or steady highway speeds makes me believe that there is not enough air passing thru your rad.fins...
