Why won't it come through the vents

Cold air kinda just wafts up the defrost vents it's cold
but won't come through the vents?

Sounds like the climate control system has lost vacuum. When that happens the system defaults to defrost for safety reasons. Check for a broken or disconnected vacuum hose near the firewall. Usually near the center or driver's side. Hope that helps! Jim
