Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My '97 Intrepid 3.5L is losing power at around 35mph when i coast and press the footfeed. I was thinking plugged injectors or a sensor. Any suggestions?

You need to do some basic diagnostic techniques to find your problem. Check vacuum at idle - 18-20 At 2500 and release 25 - Substatially lower than specs you have a exhaust restriction ( Catalytic Converter) Fuel Pressure would be next to check / Key on engine off 48 lbs / Eingine Running 39lbs / Fuel Regulator disconnected 46-49 lbs Check engine light on or OFF would help in diagnosis too Good Luck

i checked vacuum, fuel pressure, the catalytic converter isnt plugged, and there is no DTC's...everything checked out fine. but i still have the problem, this only occurs once in a while and not in the morning i have no clue what this could be could it possibly be a torque converter or transmission problem?
